To celebrate our first decade of success -- AND the designation of the campus as a TREE CAMPUS USA --- the UA Campus Arboretum’s Advisory Board has established a special endowment fund:
Friends of the Campus Arboretum.
The "
Friends Fund" will support strong leadership while it honors the efforts of
Founding Director Elizabeth Davison. The earnings on donations into this fund will provide for active management of the UA’s trees as well as the long-term sustainability of the UA Campus Arboretum.
The University of Arizona Campus Arboretum was formally dedicated in 2002. Since that time, hundreds of individual donors have helped support the Mission Statement …
"…showcase the historic, scientific, aesthetic, environmental, economical, conservation, and educational value of these plants within the larger Tucson urban forest and the American Southwest".

Please give as generously as you can – all levels are welcome!WHAT’S AN ENDOWMENT? An endowment is a permanent fund that earns interest for today’s needs and opportunities. It will generate earnings in perpetuity to provide the Campus Arboretum with sustained support.
OUR GOAL: A minimum of $10,000 is needed to start the endowment. We hope to meet this goal before the end of the year. If we surpass our goal, and reach $25,000, the fund will give us $1000 each year so we can plan for student work, tree purchases and other crucial operations.
YOU CAN HELP: The Friends of the Campus Arboretum Endowment is a great opportunity to establish the foundation that will ensure an active sustainable Campus Arboretum. All gifts are tax deductible.
