Driving Directions
We strongly advise checking out routes before you leave for
the conference. I-10 is being widened and many of the usual exits into
the main part of Tucson are closed. Additional closures and delays vary
from day to day. Coming from the north (Phoenix, Casa Grande), the easiest
route to the university via Speedway Blvd. is not directly accessible from
I-10. |
From Phoenix, Casa
Grande and points north
A reasonable route (but not the only one)
to the university is to take I-10 south
to the Prince Road exit. Follow Prince east almost 4 miles to Campbell
Ave. Turn south (right) on Campbell and proceed approximately 1.5 miles
to Speedway Blvd.
The Keating Bioresearch Building is on Helen St. (one block north of
Speedway) between Warren and Cherry Avenues. Highland Garage is
also on Helen St. between Cherry and Mountain Avenues.
A second route is to exit at Prince Road and follow the
frontage road south until Speedway Boulevard. Turn east (under I-10)
and proceed to the university. |
From Cochise County and
points east
Take I-10 West. Exit at Kino Parkway and travel
north. Kino will become Campbell Ave. Turn left (west) at Speedway Boulevard.
The Keating Bioresearch Building is on Helen St. (one block north of

on Helen St. between Cherry and Mountain Avenues.
From Santa Cruz County and points south or west
Take I-19 north to I-10 east. Exit at Kino Parkway
and travel north. Kino will become Campbell Ave. Turn left (west) at
Speedway Boulevard. The Keating Bioresearch Building is on Helen St.
(one block north of Speedway) between Warren and Cherry Avenues. Highland
Garage is also on Helen St. between Cherry and Mountain Avenues. |
