My degree in agricultural economics has undoubtedly prepared me for continued success in the professional and academic areas. Upon graduation, I was admitted as a fully funded graduate student and was hired as an intern for the Foreign Agricultural Service at the U.S. Embassy in South Africa. I am convinced that the exceptional analytical tools I gained from my coursework were key factors in helping me to be selected for such a prestigious internship, and for full funding as a graduate student. It is without question that the superior training from my undergraduate program at the University of Arizona has served as the foundation of my continued success as a student and professional.
