| The
goal of the Bachelor of Science program in the School of Plant Sciences
is to offer students exciting and stimulating intellectual challenges
in all aspects of the study of plants. Through taking an active
interest in each student, the Plant Science faculty provide both
scientific theory and practical application. We encourage students
to seek employment in the department and to attend departmental
seminars. Our curriculum provides an excellent background in both
basic and applied aspects of plant biology. The program will give
students the tools necessary to respond to the rapidly changing
