Mike Wierzba is an undergraduate senior in Molecular and Cell Biology (honors). As part of the Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP - funded by HHMI grant), he has been working in the Larkins Lab since May 2000. He has been helping Dr. Bryan Gibbon with the mRNA trafficking project, trying to identify proteins responsible for the localization and trafficking of mRNA in maize endosperm.
