Taijoon Chung, a PhD student of the Plant Sciences Department, joined Larkins Lab in spring 2002. He received degrees of B.A. (1997) and M.S. (1999) from Yonsei University, Seoul - South Korea. During M.S. student, he worked on the ethylene signal transduction leading to the transcription of ACC oxidase gene. His current research interest is on the regulatory mechanism of gene expression that is responsible for the storage protein production in maize endosperm.
