Victor.jpg (27352 bytes) Victor Manolii joined the lab as a Fulbright scholar in August 1999. He received his BS degree in Agriculture from the Tsaul Agricultural College in the Republic of Moldova. His MSc. was done in the Chisinau Agriculture Institute and his PhD. in breeding and corn genetics    in the State Agricultural University, also in Moldova.  He holds a position as associate professor in the Department of Breeding, Genetics and Biotechnology   at the State Agricultural University of Moldova. His reasearch is focused on development of QPM (quality protein maize) and mapping of populations segregating for kernel hardness and high lysine content.
