The strength of the Landscape Studies Program is the application of computer-based technology to answer questions in natural resource and environmental planning and management. . Landscape Studies offers students a tremendous breadth and depth of study in Geographic Information Science and Technology integrated with the  study of natural resource management and conservation.  The program prepares students for careers in information management, geospatial information technology, resource mapping and environmental or conservation planning.

Undergraduate students may pursue a formal plan of study in Landscape Assessment and Analysis.
