Join Rainwater Harvesting professional, Lincoln Perino, for a close look at sensible, water-smart (and wallet-smart) rainwater harvesting systems for the home landscape. This informative workshop will focus on designing a passive and active rainwater catchment system for a residential landscape. Bring a sketch or site plan of your property to refer to during the workshop. The Tucson Water Single Family Residential Rainwater Harvesting Incentives/Rebate Program is offering two rebate funding levels (up to $2,000) as incentive to install water harvesting on residential properties. This workshop is mandatory to qualify for the rebate.

Pre-Registration Required. If there is space available in the class or on the waiting list, you can access it through the REGISTER button (in green, under the map).

Those who come to class but are not registered may “stand-by” and participate IF space is available (class size is dictated by fire code). 

Those who are on the waiting list have priority for “stand-by”.

Esta clase es la base para entender  la relación entre plantas, suelos y agua y es el cimiento para el curso de Smartscape Professional Series (Serie de Smartscape en Español) Esta instrucción se enfoca en la textura  y estructura del suelo y como afecta el movimiento del agua, velocidad de infiltración y capacidad de absorción y retención del agua (CC). Se discute también una serie de mecanismos que la planta utiliza para regular el uso del agua

Esta clase se enfoca en: Elementos básicos de los suelos, crecimiento de las plantas y la función del agua
