The Biosystems Engineering Club is dedicated to the introduction and exploration of Biosystems Engineering to undergraduate engineering students and anyone else interested in Biosystems Engineering. Club activities include social events, lab tours, guest speakers, and design projects within subjects such as controlled environment agriculture, IoT, sensors and controls, automation, and robotics.
Our group objectives are to provide networking opportunities that can serve as support within the academic curriculum, by creating relationships with other students, faculty members, other professionals, and prospective employers in the field of Ecohydrology. We wish to reach out to incoming freshman and undeclared students and build interest in a field that is quickly gaining momentum. We will offer a diverse range of opportunities for further education and training, as well as philanthropic and resume building opportunities. We will also be seeking opportunities to participate in fundraising through grants and sponsorship in order to fund club events and possible scholarship awards.
